Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refunds (if applicable)

Our refund policy lasts for 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Our refund policy covers incomplete/ damaged items upon delivery. 

To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Take a photo immediately after receiving a defected item and attach it to the refund request.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned and refunded. Perishable goods such as e-books or gift cards cannot be returned and refunded.

To complete your refund, we require a receipt or proof of purchase as well as evidence of damaged or defective items.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. 

 

Cancellation

Inventory fulfilments are made instantly, so we are unable to cancel orders after you place them. You may still try and reach out to cancel your order, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to successfully cancel it. If successful, there will be a 10% cancellation fee.

 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

 

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@rubycellmalaysia.com.my or whatsapp at (+60122749235).

The exchanges/refunds are only available for those orders which are still within their warranty period. While stocks last. *Exchange or item that is equivalent or lower in value only. 

If you are requesting for a replacement or refund, you must ensure that you:

- Have taken reasonable care of the goods.

- Have not damaged the goods by using them in a way they were not meant to be used.

- Are able to prove that you purchased the goods from us or one of our authorized retailers.

Returns/exchanges may take up to 10-14 business days.

 

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

 

Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to Rubycell Sdn Bhd, G-1, M Suite, Bandar Menjalara, 52200, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over Rm190, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

Limitation of refunds

Rubycell Sdn Bhd reserves the right to determine if the warranty is effective or if such part(s) can be repaired or replaced. Damages caused by improper actions that deviate from the intended usage of the product(s), including, but not limited to modification or abuse will result in termination of warranty with immediate effect.

This Warranty does not, in any way, limit or suspend your statutory consumer rights. Consumers are free to make a warranty claim under this Warranty while also exercising said rights.

Rubycell’s maximum liability towards you is the monetary value you paid for the products. In no event will our liability to you exceed beyond the aforementioned value. We also do not limit our liability to you where it would be unlawful under consumer protection laws.
